When I had a bite of this recipe, I knew I had to make it for my next party

Ingredients:
1 package of bratwurst (about 5-6 brats)
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 bottle of your favorite beer
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons of butter, sliced
14 ounces of chicken broth
Hoagie rolls or brat buns, for serving

Instructions:
1. Place the bratwurst, sliced onions, and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
(Optional: If you like the browned look on your brats, either brown them before placing into slow cooker or brown them at the end.)
2. Sprinkle the garlic powder evenly over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
Add the sliced butter on top of the bratwurst.
3. Pour the bottle of beer and chicken broth over everything, ensuring they are partially submerged.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, or until the bratwurst are cooked through and tender.
6. Once the brats are done, you can either serve them immediately or keep them warm in the slow cooker until ready to serve. For extra texture, brown the brats on the stove for a few minutes but this is completely optional.
7. Serve the Slow Cooker Hot Tub Beer Brats on hoagie rolls or brat buns, and garnish with additional onions and peppers if desired.
